Rob Kreider: Back in Business

I thought 37 year old Washingtonian Rob Kreider (OK, so he's really a Northern Virginian but he personal trains out of Definitions in Georgetown)had disappeared from the bodybuilding scene. The 5'6" middleweight last competed on the national level at the 2007 NPC Nationals where he placed 9th (and Evan Centopani became pro) and I thought that was that.

I didn't realize he'd been competing back east as a light-heavyin some of the local state shows. In 2008 he placed 4th at the NPC VA/DC State, he got 3rd at the NPC Maryland State and then at the 2009 NPC East Coast Classic he earned 2nd in his class and so re-qualified for Nationals (however over at RxMuscle they labeled him as Robert Kristofer for some strange reason, so no wonder I missed him).

One of the early Strengthnet.com models (video below) the increasingly tattooed Rob has intertwined his bodybuilding, personal training and modeling aspirations and is now back on the main stage getting ready for the Nationals later this month. Here he is looking good at 4 weeks out:
